4:30 pm - 9:30 pm: Eatertainment Tours: "Taste of KC"
Kick off PickleCon weekend with a fun and social Taste of KC Eatertainment bus tour that blends local food, pickleball, and community. Attendees will be picked up at 4:45 PM in front of the PickleCon registration lobby off 13th Street at the Kansas City Convention Center and travel to two pickleball-focused restaurant venues. The first stop is Char Bar Parkville from 5:15–6:45 PM for pickleball play, complimentary food, non-alcoholic beverages, and social time, with alcohol available for purchase including a featured “PickleCon Smash.” The bus then continues to the KC Pickle Club from 7:15–8:45 PM for more play, food, drinks, and connection, with scenic views of the KC Royals and Chiefs stadiums along the way. The group returns downtown by 9:30 PM, where attendees can head back to their hotels or continue the night with discounted food and concert tickets in the Power & Light District. 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm: Partner Welcome Event
Start your PickleCon weekend off right at our Partner Welcome Event in the Power & Light District. This gathering is open to all PickleCon partners, including vendors, sponsors, and event providers, and will feature access to an overlook deck and indoor space. Attendees will enjoy shareable food offerings, non-alcoholic beverages, and live music (artists to be announced by April 1), with additional food items and alcoholic drinks available for purchase. This event is a great opportunity to connect with fellow partners before the weekend begins or unwind after travel and event setup. 7:30 am - 9 am: Vendor Networking Event: Coffee & Community
Start the day with caffeine and connections. Enjoy complimentary refreshments from FlatLands Coffee Cart while hearing from keynote speaker Cody Sivan, founder of Brick Wall Pickleball, as he addresses accessibility in pro pickleball—what’s working, where we fall short, and how we move forward as a community. Upon entry, attendees will receive a ticket with a designated table number to encourage roundtable conversations both before and after the keynote, helping you connect with others you may not usually meet. Catch four local/national celebrities teaming up with four pickleball pros for a high-energy, crowd-pleasing exhibition packed with entertainment and unexpected moments. Welcome to the PickleCon Smash Showdown—where 4 teams battle through a round-robin format before advancing to a single-elimination bracket, all competing for the coveted PickleCon Smash Shield. A live DJ and emcee will keep the energy high from start to finish, with hype commentary, music, and halftime giveaways between the round-robin and bracket play. View the first two celebrities announced here (with the other two announced in the coming weeks and teams paired by May 1)—don’t miss one of the most entertaining events of the weekend.
6 pm - 9 pm: Partner Mixer & Mingle with Clubs
A relaxed and enjoyable on-site closing event for vendors, sponsors, club leaders, and partners to connect, share stories, and toast to another great year. Partners are invited to gather in the VIP area connected to Championship Court, where you can enjoy Championship Court’s nightly entertainment, continue meaningful conversations, and wind down the day together. Snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and one alcoholic drink ticket per attendee will be provided, with additional drinks available for purchase. Following the celebrity/pro exhibition, music and good vibes continue as Championship Court opens for partner play from 7:30–9:00 PM, with speakers closing out the networking portion during that window (speakers to be announced soon). The afternoon features a special exhibition: Kansas City’s frontline heroes—KC FD vs. KC PD—paired with pros for four action-packed teams. Halftime brings giveaway moments, and the celebration continues with the Best Costume Award—because even if you didn’t win on the court, you can still leave a champion.
